Zara Nikou Sichani, a Canadian of Persian & Filipino descent, blossomed as a child model at a very young age of 4. She walked down the ramp in Manila, Philippines for top brands Elle, Toy Kingdom, Disney Princess, & prestigious Philippine Fashion Week & Philippine Fashion Awards. Zara continued this exciting path when her family decided to permanently live in Canada & has done runways for H&M, and Cabriolle Luxury Couture in the Vancouver Kids Fashion Week. Zara has also modelled for fashion labels Ralph Lauren, Gap & Zara, Rustan’s Kids, SM Petites, Ana Balahan (Australia) & Little Skye (New Jersey), and endorsed Furby for Toy Kingdom & for a major international bank HSBC.

TV Ads are eventually conquered by doing commercials in Manila for multinationals Mc Donalds, Sun Cellular Telecommunications, Vista land Real Estate, Safeguard, Swift Hotdogs, Doowee Donuts, & Chocotopps Cupcakes. In BC Canada,, Zara continued her commercial acting for BC Transit, Nature Trust of BC, Southlands Tsawassen for Century Grp., & BC Children’s Hospital.

So, where else a talented young girl is supposed to go after that?

Zara is a natural-born artist. Success in modelling and product endorsing led her to do acting. She started acting in films top-billed by American & Canadian seasoned actors for Disney’s Pupstar Christmas & Puppy Prep Academy TV Series. Hallmark Channel has also given her good breaks this year in their 2020 Countdown to Christmas feel good flicks Deliver by Christmas (w/ Alvina August of Nancy Drew), If I Only Had Christmas (w/ Candice Cameron Bure of Fuller House) & The Christmas House ( w/ John Bennett of Mean Girls/Cake Wars & Rob Buckley of One Tree Hill) & Anna Ayora of Capt. Marvel). In this recent film The Christmas House, Zara is portraying Rose as the close friend of Noah, portrayed by Mattia Castrillo.

Zara's first break in a lead role started in the International Filmfest entry "Aperture", where she won her 1st Best Child Actress Award during the Oniros Film Awards, Italy & her 2nd Best Child/Young Actress award of LA Int'l Film Fest, at the same time multi awarded actress Mimi Ndiweni of The Legend of Tarzan & Cinderella Glass Slipper won the Best Actress award for the film Dishonour. Aperture was written and directed by Hyomin Bong (following his father Bong Joon Ho’s footsteps, Oscars & Caanes Best Director for Best Films Parasite, Okja to name a few). Aperture also got nominations & special awards in other International Film Festivals: Los Angeles International Film Festival; European Cinematography Awards; New York Film Festival; and Stockholm Film Festival. Soon after, Zara landed in lead roles in other International Filmfest entries Beyond Saturn, Leo, Sabicha, & Heliophilia.

As an aspiring singer, Zara does covers for songs by Rachel Platten, Jocelyn Alice, Barbara Streisand, Alice Merton, even Bruno Mars and the like. With her unique vocal techniques, it will not be surprising that she will be pop singer, too.

Clothing brands are Lululemon (blue leggings), Zara (Light blue leather blazer & inner shirt), Nicole Miller (Purple formal dress w/ Rhinestones sash), and Ruby Rox (Black & white formal dress w/ Pearl brooch).
