Alexander is about to launch his recording artist career and will be releasing his first original single titled "Dance With Me" this month. It will be available on iTunes, Spotify, Google Play, Tidal and many more platforms. He will also be performing in Las Vegas this month for the first time ever and is very excited about working with choreographers that are a true inspiration to him and that he looks up to.
Alexander Panetta is a 13 year old dancer, recording artist, singer, rapper, and model from Toronto, Canada. He believes that music and dance is a great way for people of any age, especially the youth, to express themselves and to be free.
One of the highlights of Alexander's dance career thus far, is when he was chosen out of thousands of submissions to dance on stage with Justin Bieber at his Purpose Tour Concert in Toronto, at the Air Canada Centre in 2016.
Alexander was a member of the Lil Ballas Dancepak, and danced for the NBA Toronto Raptors for 2 seasons. He performed at the Air Canada Centre to sold out crowds of over 20,000 people. He was also part of a handful of dancers chosen from the Dancepak to perform at the NBA All Star Game in 2016, which was televised all across North America.
Just recently Alexander was personally invited by Korede Bello, a Nigerian artist known for his hit song "Do Like That", to perform with him at his Toronto show in April 2017.
Alexander enjoys a variety of styles of dance, including hip hop, popping, locking, krump, house, Afro, and dancehall.
Some of his most meaningful and memorable performances were when he had the opportunity to give back to the community, and perform at Charity events, including the Toronto Starlight Gala, United Way Season Kick Off, and the Rock N Stroll Moint Sinai Hospital fundraiser.
He has been on TV a number of times, including appearances on Treehouse, TVO Kids and Tiny Talent Time, MPK commercials, Breakfast Television, and has been featured in 2 stories on Global News. He has performed at a number of venues, such as the Ontario Liberal Convention at the request of Premier Dalton McGuinty, the Youth Media Awards, the Aroni Awards, the African Entertainment Awards, Youth Day Toronto, Carabram, Pan Am Games 2015, the Toronto Starlight Gala, TDOTFEST, Toronto Choreographer's Ball 2016, and World Cup of Hockey 2016. Alexander was a member of the Mini Pop Kids, and he toured with them across Canada. He recorded Albums 13 & 14 with them.
Alexander has had the opportunity to be taught by a number of highly skilled choreographers, like Stephen "tWitch” Boss, Allison Holker, Marty Kudelka, Ian Eastwood, Napoleon and Tabitha D'umo "Nappytabs", Jaja Vankova, CJ Salvador, Luther Brown, Scott Forsyth, David Moore, BDASH, Ivan Koumaev, Melanie Hidalgo Cruz, Natalie Nesterenko, Andrew "Pyro" Chung, Brandon "Bizzy Boom" Owusu, Tabby Donaldson, Derick Robinson.
Alexander has also been in numerous music videos with well known Toronto Choreographer's and Rappers/Musicians. Recently he was hired by Magen Boys Entertainment, and is the youngest entertainer in MBE history to be added to their roster.
One of Alexander's newest interests is modelling. Alexander is featured in 3 American fashion magazines: Kidfash Magazine, BCK Magazine and La Belle Magazine. He was also selected to perform and model at a Canada Goose Fashion Show.
Alexander is excited to announce that he is currently working on an original song, which will be released in summer 2017.
Alexander is so grateful to have been chosen to be part of a select group invited to perform at the Pulse Gala Invitational Las Vegas Summer Finale. He is humbled and excited to have been invited, and he is looking forward to performing in Las Vegas at the end of June, 2017. He is also excited about his trip to Los Angeles in July 2017, where he will be attending the Buildabeast Workshop, a dance convention held by Willdabeast Adams.
Alexander is very honored and proud to be a member of the hip hop crew, “Faction,” in Toronto.
The following are some awards that Alexander has received: Beatdown Hip Hop Competition 1st place crew, Freestyle Battle Solo Winner awarded by Marty Kudelka and David Moore, Pulse Gala Invitational Las Vegas Summer Finale (12 out of hundreds chosen for an invite only Performance), On the Floor Scholarship to Dancerpalooza Los Angeles 2017, Future Shock Alan Faigal Award voted by peers for being an inspirational and positive role model , GTA’s Got Talent Winner (crew) and 1st Runner Up (duet), numerous dance studio competition 1st place categories/overalls/specials for large groups, small groups, solos and duets, Hit the Floor 2017 1st Overall Hip Hop Solo, chosen for Special Group Performance (4 out of 70 dancers) and danced alongside Tate McCrae, View Dance Challenge 2017 1st in his category Hip Hop Intermediate and 5th out of 110 entries for intermediate solos, Judge’s Special Award “Puppet Master.”
When he has a little bit of spare time, Alexander also enjoys photographer and video editing.
